WHO WE ARE

We are the Initiative pour la Promotion de la Famille et du Genre "IPFG" a public women-led profit organization created in 2002, and legally registered by ministerial order N° 17/11 of 31 January 2006 which was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda, O.G N° 10 bis of 15 may 2006. We are based in Gasaka Sector, Nyamagabe District, Southern Province. So far, we operate in 2 provinces namely Southern and Western Provinces with the ambition to extend the actions to some other in the coming years. Today, IPFG has over 40 members mainly women, and 30 staff members that are anxious about the welfare and the complete development of the family based socio-economic development through equal and active participation of men and women in all activities and decision-making processes. For over twenty tree years of our operation, we have brought about change for many families and communities and this has been possible due to the support from different donors.

    IPFG with support from RGB /UNDP 61 youth have supported to access start up kits to start small IGA particularly in Sewing , carpentry they will create new jobs and hopefully their lives will have great positive changes and will become small entrepreneurs Nyamagabe
